These citations are merely a contrivance to allow me to slip in the seventh language<\/span> (ancient Greek) that I\u2019ve employed, to date, in this blog. Since I began maintaining this electronic diary in January, I\u2019ve cranked out approximately 21,669 words<\/span>, including today\u2018s entry.<\/span><\/div>\n
More germane, however, is that I’ve sampled well over 50 distinct varietals<\/span> and blends\u00a0from California, Oregon and Washington\u00a0throughout the past 4\u2153 months. Don\u2019t even ask how many wines that constitutes (although my liver takes comfort that it\u2019s sufficiently under 1,000) nor how many wineries I\u2019ve covered (at best, 5% of the labels currently produced on the West Coast). Obviously, I have a lot more painstaking work still ahead!<\/span><\/div>\n
The point is that I say to all those import-centric contrarians, particularly among the self-proclaimed locavore establishments: we have an abundance<\/span> of excellent wine right\u00a0here in our midst to create a consistently intriguing wine list at Sostevinobile<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/div>\n
